Një gjeneral divizioni i forcave ajrore venezuelase njoftoi sot se nuk e njeh më autoritetin diktatorial të Nicolas Maduro dhe shpalli besnikëri tek presidenti i vetëshpallur Juan Guaido.

“Ju informoj se nuk e njoh autoritetin diktatorial të Nicolas Maduro dhe se njoh deputetin Juan Guaido si president të Venezuelës”, theksoi oficeri, që prezantohet si drejtori i planifikimit strategjik të Ushtrisë së Ajrit.

Kjo deklaratë vjen vetëm pak orë pas fillimit të manifestimeve të reja nga opozita, ku kërkohet largimi i Nicolas Maduro.
