Yjtë-e ndezur si fingjill,
Që vërtiten palë-palë,
Prej mosgjëje zunë fill
Plot me jetë-e mall të valë.
Zunë fill me dashuri
Që kur bota zu të ngjizet,
Pa sikush për shok të ti
Përvëlohet edhe ndizet.
Ndizet ças edhe për ças,
E si kurrë s’ka të shuar,
Pa pushim i vete pas
Me një sulm të llaftaruar.
E si kurrë nuku mund
Ylli yllin që t’a kapë
Rrotull qiejve pa fund
Venë-e-vinë-e-venë prapë…

(First part)
Shining stars like the ember,
Are both spinning side by side,
Out of nothing they’d render
Hotly longing deep inside.
With much love up to ascend
Since the world did first conceive,
Everyone for his-her friend
Burns and lights up to retrieve.
He does flash up plainly,
Light-and-glow he never lack,
Follows her incessantly
With a frightening attack.
Since they never can come by
Star the star can’t reach or catch
Round about the endless sky
To and fro, they never attach…
