The Albanian community in England has started a protest this Saturday at Westminster Bridge, near the parliament.
Albanian immigrants are protesting against the harsh rhetoric bordering on racism, articulated two weeks ago by the Secretary of the Interior Suela Braverman.
She mentioned as an example in the parliament of Great Britain only the Albanians who arrive by dinghy and not the other 11 nationalities of about 40,000 people who have arrived this year on the English shores.
Breverman’s declaration of an “invasion” by Albanians was then amplified by the media in England, which have an editorial policy against immigrants.
The message that Albanians in England want to convey in this protest at Westminster Bridge is that they are not criminals but tax payers and contributors to British society.
